Each Saturday, The Express community newspaper highlights people, groups and activities our readers deem worthy of applause.
We want to give a huge SHOUT OUT and a big THANK YOU to the Susquehanna Valley Big Twins Motorcycle Club for putting together a basket benefit for us during their April breakfast at their club and to EVERYONE who came out to help our cause.
Because of YOU, we were able to raise a total of $2,313. We are beyond grateful to everyone who came out to support us, to everyone who provided baskets and prizes for the raffle and to everyone who bought chances for the basket raffle and 50/50 drawings.
We also want to send a very special THANK YOU to Bev Confair (at SVBTMC) for organizing and making the basket raffle all possible. We truly could not have done this without Bev's help!
The love and support from this community never goes unnoticed. Every dollar will go towards helping the animals who need us most.
