Thank you, Justin Kline!
In the most difficult battle of his life against a formidable foe, Justin Kline has persevered to become an inspiration to us all.
This outstanding guy, who gave his all to the youth of our region in helping to mentor and guide members of what surely can be called the legendary Keystone Little League All Star team to the 2011 Little League Baseball World Series, has yet again earned the respect of many with his courage and love.
This past week, Justin’s dream of a local shrine to baseball greats came true with establishment and opening of the Clinton & Centre County Baseball Hall of Fame.
Folks, Justin was struck down by leukemia just a couple of years after helping to guide the Keystone Kids to the ultimate youth baseball championships in South Williamsport.
And boy, did he, his fellow coaches, the players and their families make us all proud!
They brought great honor and pride to Clinton County. What an experience!
And what an impact that team has had on encouraging more participation by kids and helping to plant the seed for successful teams that have followed.
We all love an underdog, and that’s just what Justin is … a person who fights against all odds.
While leukemia has robbed Justin of his sight, it is our sight — and our lives — that benefit from his great courage and work ethic.
All of us can take great inspiration and hope in Justin’s determination to continue contributing to his community to build pride.
And he always gives credit to his family, as we do by saying THANK YOU to the Kline family!
And then there are Justin’s friends and their unwavering support!
Love knows no bounds.
