The fair begins today but with registrations.
It formally opens tomorrow, Saturday, at the fairgrounds off Route 220-Fairground Road-Racetrack Road. Just outside the village of Mackeyville.
THANKS to the fair association board members who put countless hours into this event and others held year-round at the complex.
THANKS to the exhibitors, the vendors, musicians, and especially those involved in 4-H.
The fair is a celebration of agriculture.
Take heed to the fair's mission statement: To promote agriculture by providing a place for 4-H Youth and area residents to exhibit and participate so that all Fair visitors can benefit; and to maintain the grounds and buildings in good condition for year round use.
It is a special event at a very special place!
