Not a surprise, but a disappointment

This letter is in response to Mr. Desmond’s letter in the March 6 edition of The Express titled “Five generations of trout fishing comes to an end.”
I like that you have generations of family that enjoyed fishing at Baker Run and helped the Fish Commission stock that stream.
The decision to not stock the stream doesn’t surprise me in the least.
The Fish Commission caters to the Trout Unlimited outfits more and more every year. Just look at the streams they have gotten off limits to the so-called bait fisherman.
There is an old saying that goes… Don’t piss down my back and tell me it’s raining!
I strongly encourage all bait fishermen to release the brown trout dead back into these streams. These people at the Fish Commission don’t care about us at all. They would just as soon see us quit fishing. I never thought I would see this come about.
