A college town

Today I heard the statement, "Well, you shouldn't live in a college town then!"

I heard it when someone complained about loud music at night. I heard it when someone complained about parties. I heard it as an excuse for a number of bad choices and behaviors. Don't like what I am doing? "Well, you shouldn't live in a college town!"

Is that the consensus for the majority of the students at LHU or just the women's wrestling team?

I had the misfortune of meeting a few teammates today of the LHU women's wrestling team. They were belligerent, disrespectful and just down right mean. I actually felt bad for the homeowners in the area where these girls were living. Along with the foul mouths and yelling. One teammate kept throwing that phrase around! As if she had every right to do as she pleased! Don't like it? Well you shouldn't live in a college town! Seems to me that the residents of this town help out the college just as much! Don't like your neighbors? Well you can always go home!
