Trump bankruptcies

Have you heard that Donald J. Trump cares only about himself and not others? The fact that he has gone bankrupt multiple times is cited as proof of his heartlessness. I decided to do more extensive research of these claims using ‘artificial intelligence (AI)’ through chatgpt.com. Here is what I discovered:
Question 1: How many businesses owned by Donald J. Trump have gone bankrupt?
Answer: Donald J. Trump’s businesses have filed for bankruptcy six times. Below is a list of those six businesses:
1) Trump Taj Mahal (1991)
2) Trump Plaza Hotel (1992)
3) Trump Castle (1992)
4) Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino (1992)
5) Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts (2004)
6) Trump Entertainment Resorts (2009)
The filings were intended to renegotiate debt obligations for the businesses, allowing them to continue operating while addressing financial difficulties.
Question 2: Estimate the unpaid obligations of these six bankrupt companies.
Answer: The unpaid obligations or debts of Donald Trump’s six bankrupt companies have been estimated to total around $4 billion. Here’s a breakdown:
1) Trump Taj Mahal (1991): Approximately $3 billion in debt, with Trump restructuring $900 million in personal liabilities.
2) Trump Plaza Hotel (1992): Involved in a restructuring of $550 million in debt.
3) Trump Castle (1992): Debt estimated at around $338 million.
4) Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino (1992): Part of a broader restructuring involving significant debts but often lumped together with other properties.
5) Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts (2004): Filed for bankruptcy with $1.8 billion in debt.
6) Trump Entertainment Resorts (2009): Filed for bankruptcy with debts of $1.2 billion
These estimates are rough and the actual amounts might vary depending on how debt was restructured or negotiated during the bankruptcy proceedings. However, collectively, these bankruptcies involved the restructuring or discharge of billions of dollars in debt.
It is easy to see why Democrats gleefully say this proves Trump’s unscrupulous greed and lack of concern for his employees and vendors. But I chose not to stop here and kept researching further, finding the following:
Question 3: How many businesses have been owned by Donald J. Trump that have not gone bankrupt?
Answer: Donald J. Trump has owned or been involved in over 500 business ventures throughout his career, according to various reports. The vast majority of these businesses have not filed for bankruptcy. While six of his businesses went through bankruptcy, the remaining ventures, which number in the hundreds, have operated without going through this process.
These ventures include a wide range of activities, such as real estate development, licensing deals, hospitality, golf courses and branding projects, among others. The exact number of businesses that have not gone bankrupt is difficult to pinpoint due to the extensive and varied nature of his business dealings, but it’s clear that the overwhelming majority of his businesses have not gone through bankruptcy.
So Trump’s Business success ratio is 500+ successful business to six bankruptcies. That is a 98.8% success ratio. Why do democrats focus only on the six bankruptcies and not the 500+ viable businesses that have employed an estimated tens of thousands of people. Currently, with a reduced portfolio, the Trump Organization likely employs several thousand people across its active ventures. Does this sound like a bad guy?
For my last research question, I asked (AI) the following question:
Question 4: Declare how many businesses each of the following have owned or operated:
Joe Biden
Kamala Harris
Barak Obama
Bill Clinton
Nancy Pelosi
Chuck Schumer
Answer: Here’s a summary of the business involvement for each of the political figures you mentioned:
1. Joe Biden
Number of Businesses Owned/Operated: 0
2. Kamala Harris
Number of Businesses Owned/Operated: 0
3. Barak Obama
Number of Businesses Owned/Operated: 0
4. Bill Clinton
Number of Businesses Owned/Operated: 0
5. Nancy Pelosi
Number of Businesses Owned/Operated: 0
6. Chuck Schumer
Number of Businesses Owned/Operated: 0
So, if my math is correct, the total number of successful businesses owned or operated by these top Democratic figures is a grand total of zero. I think Trump’s 98.8% business success rate is a tad bit better than the collective Democrat’s top leadership’s 0%. Yet the Democrat political spin continues to cite a 1.2% bankruptcy rate as an example of failure or uncaring greed. This could be compared to citing Baseball Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson who was caught attempting to steal 335 times in his 25-year career, a Major League Baseball record. Henderson stole a record 1,406 bases during this same time. Would the Democrat’s political spin neglect to mention this? Yet Democrat voters continue to elect Democrat politicians lacking real world business experience. Why then are they surprised when top Democrats play a key role in poor policy decisions that harm our country?
Do your own research. Don’t accept talking points on face value; it’s too important. Our country may not be able to return from its ill-informed march toward socialism and/or communism. Once it is fully implemented, it is almost impossible to remove. Watch what they do, not what they say, it is crucial!
