If you're ever walking downtown like I often do, I'm sure you've seen the condition that our sidewalks are in. As a mother and a caregiver, I personally struggle with safely pulling a wagon with my 3-year-old in it. My 6-year-old enjoys riding his bike and he also agrees our sidewalks could use a facelift. I'm not sure who I could raise my concern to directly but hopefully this message with reach them. If they wouldn't mind taking a walk downtown by Dutch Haven Restaurant, Bald Eagle Car Wash, Bald Eagle Distributor, etc. areas of concern, they'd have a good list of places that could use some TLC. Please add this to your honey-do list for the mothers and caregivers who rely on sidewalks to walk our kids to daycare, walk to stores and help handicap clients cross the road safely. Thank you!
