In the recent presidential debate, there was a stark difference between how and what Donald Trump and Kamala Harris communicated. Vice President Harris immediately set a civil tone when she walked over to Donald Trump with her hand extended in greeting. She methodically presented her policy positions in a clear voice and level tone and responded to questions.

Trump performed as he did during the Biden debate by dodging these questions: Why did you kill the bipartisan border bill? How would you deport 11 million people? Regarding Jan. 6, do you have any regrets? Why should women trust you on abortion? Do you want Ukraine to win the war? What would you do to reduce climate change?

Instead of responding to the moderators’ questions or Harris’ rebuttals, Trump changed the subject, became angry and loud and piled on unrelated topics in run-on sentences. He exaggerated or lied about immigrants, abortion, Afghanistan and inflation to attack Harris.

Imagine yourself interviewing a job candidate who repeatedly dodges questions, replies with unrelated information or responds with outrageous untruths. Would you hire him?

It seems this debate performance by Donald Trump was as good as it gets. Let’s not have another four years of his chaos, bluster and laziness that we witnessed before, plus the enactment by his administration of the extreme policies detailed in Project 2025. Vote for Kamala Harris to serve as president and employ her work ethic, intelligence and humanity.

Starting at $3.69/week.
