In Thursday's paper, columnist Betsy McCaughey wasted more than a dozen good paragraphs ranting about diseases coming across our southern border. Betsy, do you ever bother to read anything real? Approximately 2.9 million passengers land at airports from overseas every day, based on figures from the FAA which state that around 2.9 million airline passengers are screened daily across the US airspace (and by the way, that is how the 9/11 nutcases got here).

Those 2.9 million airline passengers are very likely to be carrying everything from Ebola to monkeypox and many others. Betsy, you are pushing propaganda rather than good competent news. Grow up. I'm sick of propaganda.

Starting at /week.
