Recent articles reported of a million dollar grant to stabilize the Bucktail Medical Center.
In addition, just a couple of years ago, when UPMC tried to close the entire facility at Lock Haven Hospital a similar intervention took place to keep our emergency facilities open.
I have learned that both these rescues were largely the result of efforts from our State Senator, Chris Dush.
I'm a Democrat who wants to sincerely thank our Republican senator for his commitment to keeping health care accessible in Clinton County.
