Recently I was in a situation where I desperately needed transportation to an important medical appointment. Being a new member to my insurance, I wasn't aware of all the benefits. I called a local taxi service and the owner said he was busy and didn't have time to review the benefits that I should be aware of. He was very rude to me, a handicapped, 90-year-old citizen. He also informed me that he only takes cash. I won't call on him again. He was a poor example of local business.
Recently I received a beautiful cinnamon bun from a fairly new business, and I was really impressed. I will return to that business!
I thought my order was mixed up, but it was a "thank you" gift for being a first time customer. Now that's what will bring me to Downtown (Lock Haven) again!
