There are many hidden treasures in Clinton County and one of them is the Children's library at the Ross Library. Within its walls are carefully selected books that cover all genres and reading levels. They are easily accessible to small and medium size hands with brightly lit nooks and corners available to curl up with a book. That's just the tip of the iceberg! There are a variety of other kid oriented materials: DVDs, computers and computer materials, puzzles, as well as a table train and other hands-on games and materials. That's just the physical wealth within its walls.
There are so many programs for children of all ages covering a barrage of topics and materials that are always age appropriate and designed to stimulate all sensory needs of children. The varied scheduling of the activities, outreach programs and the accessibility of all is fantastic! This is all created and made possible by the skillful implementation and orchestration of Miss Holly, Miss Pam and the behind the scenes indirect staff/friends of the Ross Library.
As a patron and active patronage of the hidden treasure for 60 years, this is a well overdue shout out!
