High cost of prescription drugs

In late August, I received my EOB (Explanation of Benefits) from my Medicare Provider.
From January 2025 through July 2025, my three drugs increased in price 47.5%, 99.8% and 149.6%. These are huge increases. As Republicans control all three branches of the government, I emailed Senator McCormick and Representative Thompson as to how they plan to address these increases. As of writing this, I have not received a response from them. I read where President Trump was negotiating prices with Pfizer for Medicaid. That doesn’t help those of us on Medicare. The Trump administration has proposed a 100% tariff on targeted drugs. So, dear reader, what does that mean for us? I see higher premiums, higher copays and higher deductibles in the future for us.
