To the residents of Western Clinton County:
The nominating committee of the Bucktail Medical Center is accepting names of corporate members to be placed on the ballot for election to the Board of Directors at the annual corporate meeting on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the center.
Elections for three, 3-year term seats will be held, plus consideration of Bylaw changes and other business that may properly come before the corporate body. Bylaw change submissions will be available for review from the administrative office during normal business hours beginning March 25. Please call for an appointment. Voting begins at 6 p.m.
Any regular corporate members seeking to be nominated for one of the vacant board seats must be a resident of Renovo and South Renovo Boroughs, East and West Keating Townships, East and West Noyes Townships, Leidy Township, Chapman Township, Grugan Township and Stewardson Township in Potter County and must send a letter of request for nomination, giving the applicant’s full name, address and phone number. Life members have no residency restrictions but must submit a letter of request for nomination. All letters must be received by Monday, March 30 at 3:30 p.m. Envelopes must be addressed to Ann Sanford, Chairman, Nominating Committee, c/o Bucktail Medical Center, 1001 Pine St., South Renovo, PA 17764. All envelopes addressed otherwise will be disregarded. No nominations will be accepted from the floor of the corporate meeting.
In order to be eligible to vote, all individuals must be members of the Bucktail Medical Center Corporation “in good standing” — meaning that they have contributed not less than $15 for the corporate 2026 year for a regular membership, or $500 or more for a lifetime membership and hold a current membership card. Memberships can be obtained at the administrative office by calling Tina Schoonover at 570-531-6176 for an appointment workdays between 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Members must have a current membership in order to receive a ballot. Proxies will not be accepted. The deadline for accepting and issuing a valid corporate membership to be eligible to vote in the April election is Monday, March 30, at 3:30 p.m. The membership card must be shown by the donor on election night in order to receive a ballot.
Please consider giving of yourself to help others by becoming a corporate member or running for a board seat. Community involvement and patronage of the center is imperative in order to assure the center’s future.
