Howard Peters, Ph.D., J.D. Cupertino, Calif. Over 20 years ago, I ran by signed petition and was elected to the national American Chemical Society (ACS) Board of Directors, in 2005-7. Now, in six months, STEM has been trashed and medicine is not far behind. The ‘big beautiful bill’ won’t help. I am now running a last-minute petition campaign to become one of the 15 members of the American Chemical Society Board of Directors.
