Failed to hit a 50% approval — Gallup poll, March 2025, Trump’s male approval is at 54%, non-Hispanic white adults 51%, upper income adults and Southern residents as well as married adults 50%, and of course Republican approval 92% and conservatives at 80%. Currently, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) plans to cut 83,000 jobs—17% of its workforce—in the next few years. With veterans making up 25–30% of the federal workforce, these cuts will hit them especially hard.
