After reporting to campus yesterday, the Bald Eagles opened their first preseason camp under the leadership of head coach Kathy Brown. Brown was named the head coach in April and takes over a program that went 3-13-1 (3-12-1 PSAC) last season.
Brown will lean on veteran leadership and experience returning. The Bald Eagles will also benefit from the return of their top three scorers from last year.
The Bald Eagles won’t waste any time and hit the field on Saturday, August 20 for an exhibition match vs. the Papua New Guinea Under-20 Women’s National Team at Foundation Field. The match is set for 1 p.m.
LHU officially kicks off the 2016 season on Thursday, September 1 (3:30 p.m.) at home vs. East Stroudsburg.
