Ryan Taylor dominated the 25-lap sprint car feature at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night to record his second career oval victory in 410 sprint car action. Jeff Halligan outran Kevin Nouse for the win in the opening run of the year for the 358 sprinters. Another Yellow Breeches 500 Series event for the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars is in the offing this Friday, April 6, as the oval moves to an 8 pm starting time. Also appearing this Friday, for the second time this season, will be the HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprints.

Friday the 13th of April will present one lucky driver with the biggest payday of the young Williams Grove season when the great Tommy Hinnershitz is memorialized with the running of the Tommy Classic.

The Arctic Cat All Stars Circuit of Champions Sprints will invade the oval to compete for a $5,000 payday in the event.

Port Royal finally got their season opener in on Saturday night with Lance Dewease of Fayetteville claiming the win for the 410 sprint cars. He took the lead from Jason Shultz to record the $4,000 victory which was the 107th of his career at the Juniata County oval.

Jeff Rine of Danville proved victorious in the super late model main to record his 19th career win at the oval. Rine took home $2,200 for the win.

In the Mason Dixon Shootout Series feature for limited late models, Justin Weaver took the lead from Tim Fedder to pick up the $1,000 payday and defending track champion Bill Powell scored the win in the xtreme stock main to close out the night.

At Lincoln Speedway, all the stars were out with NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne and NASCAR Truck Series Champion Christopher Bell were on hand to battle the Pennsylvania Posse this night. Kahne timed 18th quick in time trials, finished fifth in his heat, and finished eighth in the 30-lap feature after starting 15th. Bell timed 12th quick, finished third in his heat, but suffered mechanical problems in the feature after starting 12th and finished a distant 22nd. Brian Montieth charged from his sixth starting spot to chase down front row race-long leader Danny Dietrich while navigating lapped traffic on the seventh lap, grabbed the lead on the eighth lap, and drove away to his second win of 2018 in the 30-lap $5,000-to-win. Lincoln Speedway switches to night time racing next Saturday, March 24th at 6 PM, with the 410 Sprints being joined by the 358 Sprints.

Frankie Herr dominated the show at BAPS Motor Speedway to claim their opening night victory. The Street Stock feature was the most entertaining one of the night, as three drivers traded the lead seven times. Eric Tripp came out on top of the scrum, ripping past Chris Derr on the last lap to earn the victory in the 20-Lap event. Travis Moran claimed the extreme stock feature.
