Shore boys tennis blanks CM, improves to 2-0

TIM WEIGHT/For the Express A Jersey Shore boys tennis player returns a shot during the team’s match vs. Central Mountain, Wednesday at Central Mountain. Shore won 5-0.
After opening the season with a win on Monday, the Jersey Shore boys tennis team kept the ball rolling on Wednesday, blanking rival Central Mountain, 5-0, on the road.
In singles, the Bulldogs dropped just nine combined games and zero sets. Ryder Fink, Saul Hensler and Abram Paulhamus remained undefeated in singles on the season, improving to 2-0 with dominant wins.
In doubles, Camden Stellfox and Dillon Harsanyi picked up their first win of the season as a duo, dropping the second set against Central Mounta’s Ben Brinker and Jeremiah Plummer before bouncing back with a controlled, 6-2 match-clincher in set three. Same went for Ezra Paulhamus and Luke Sarge, who won in dominant fashion on Doubles Court One, 6-3, 6-1.
Jersey Shore (2-0) returns to action on Friday, facing off against defending District 4 champion Lewisburg on the road at 4 p.m. For the Wildcats (1-1), their next chance to bounce back comes against Shikellamy, next Monday at 4 p.m. on the road.
