Central Columbia denied Jersey Shore its first district championship since 1997, winning the Class AAAA final, 63-47. Still, Jersey Shore reached that game for a third straight season and is state tournament-bound for a third consecutive year. Entering Saturday’s game at Allentown Central Catholic, seniors Cailyn Schall, Hannah Heaton, Sophia Stover and Peyton Dincher have won 69 games, as well as three league titles, after arriving in high school a year after Jersey Shore went 3-15 in a condensed 2021 season.

Those seniors also have made their mark in other sports with the softball team winning two district championships, the golf team three crowns and the tennis team two titles. District title or not, those seniors have secured quite a fantastic legacy at Jersey Shore.
