Local roundup: Jersey Shore boys fall to Juniata 4-0

In boys soccer, Jersey Shore fell to Juniata, 4-0. Abe Paulhamus recorded eight saves as the Bulldogs were held to just four shots on goal.

The Bulldogs trailed just 1-0 at halftime, but three second-half goals by Juniata put the game out of reach.

• The Lock Haven field hockey team opened its 2025 season by visiting No. 11 Syracuse for a non-conference game. The nationally-ranked Orange took the contest 15-0.

The Bald Eagles move to 0-1 on the young season and The Orange improve to 1-0. Kelsey Felix made 11 saves in cage for the Bald Eagles. Molly Lynch recorded a shot on offense.

Bo Van Kemp led Syracuse with six goals.

The Bald Eagles return to action on Sunday afternoon (11 a.m.) when they Colgate for a non-conference game.
