On Monday evening, the Central Mountain and Jersey Shore boys soccer teams battled their way to a stalemate, wrapping up a second overtime period without a victor as the teams tied, 1-1.

Ezra Paulhamus got the Bulldogs on the board on an assist from Dylan Hensler late in the first, but Wildcat senior Dylan Bechdel was able to tie early in the second. From there, goalkeepers Jaggar Pardoe and Orrin Pennycoff and the CM and Shore backlines held firm.

Central Mountain earned a senior night win in girls volleyball by beating Selinsgrove, 3-0. The Wildcats played great overall, winning 25-8, 25-6 and 25-8. Central Mountain honored its seniors Gabby Beaubrun, Lily Downing, Sophia Hardy, Kylie Rauch and Reese Walizer.

The Jersey Shore girls tennis suffered a tough loss against a strong South Williamsport squad, falling to the Mounties in sweep fashion, 5-0. The Bulldogs failed to take a set on the day, but Josie Gerst did post a strong second set at Singles Court 1, battling for four wins against South’s Emma McLaughlin.
