LHU football looks to move above .500
Lock Haven’s football team is sitting at 4-4 thanks to back-to-back wins against West Chester (28-21) and Shippensburg (35-21). Last week’s win against the Raiders was a big win to get to .500, and extends the Bald Eagles’ winning streak over Shippensburg to three in a row dating to 2023.
Lock Haven scored 21 first-quarter points in last week’s win as Jackson Ostrowsky threw for 334 yards — 116 of which went to Jake Roberts — and Ezequiel Johnson ran for 91 yards.
Millersville has yet to win a game this season and fell last week to Bloomsburg, 37-21, and to No. 4 Kutztown, 43-14, the week prior.
Isaiah Emmanuel leads Millersville with 386 rushing yards and four touchdowns while Mekhi Ashby has 198 rushing yards, JQ Brown has 161 and Jose Lopez has rushed for 158. Ryan Zeitt has had success throwing the ball as he has 1,267 passing yards with 10 touchdowns.
