The Jersey Shore girls produced their most impressive win this season, handing Shikellamy its first league loss in nine games and scoring 27 fourth quarter points in a 61-49 victory. The Bulldogs (12-6) drained 10 3-pointers with freshman Marlee Lehman scoring a career-high 20 points. Kylie Schall (14) and Avery DePasqua (9) combined for 23 points and six 3-pointers, while Kylie Schall had 14 points and Gracelyn Frantz eight. Jersey Shore turned a four-point second quarter deficit into a five-point halftime lead and Lehman went 7 of 8 at the foul line in the fourth quarter.
• Jersey Shore produced 26 assists on 32 field goals and made 21 steals as it pounded Midd-West, 81-51. Four players scored in double figures, including Khani McCray who had 16 points, six rebounds and six assists. Carson Watkins had 14 points with five rebounds and Jacob Lorson 12 points, nine assists, five boards and three steals. Ty McDermit added 12 points.
• Lock Haven competed at Bucknell in women’s track and field. Leading the way, Reagan Irons captured first place in the high jump, clearing 5 feet, 2 1/2 inches to secure her spot at the PSAC Championships. The Bald Eagles also dominated the 1,600 relay, as the Lock Haven "A" squad – Alexanne Fite, Makayla Weber, Nicole Carroll, and Elizabeth Shultz – claimed victory with a time of 4:08.50, marking the team's top relay performance of the season.
In the field events, Clarissa Davis continued her consistent year with a PSAC mark and fourth-place finish in the shot put, posting a throw of 40-5.
On the track, several Bald Eagles added PSAC-qualifying performances. Weber sprinted to a time of 9.43 seconds in the prelims of the 60-meter hurdles, while Shultz earned a PSAC mark in the 400 meters, clocking 1:00.25 and taking seventh overall. Carroll also notched a conference mark in the 800 meters with a time of 2:25.13, and Kelci Carle ran 1:25.04 in the 500 meters, placing fifth in the event.
At Bucknell, the Lock Haven men's 1,600 relay team of Matt Reinard, Cam Lewis, Ryan Williams, and Josiah Schans crossed the line in first in 3:26.03.
Kristian Mizdail finished second in the 1,000 meters (2:40.32) and fifth in the mile (4:24.28), the latter meeting the PSAC standard. Matt Reinard added a second-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles (8.42), also a PSAC mark.
In the jumps, Ben Streator earned runner-up honors in the high jump (6-2 3/4), and Michael Lawrence took second in the triple jump (13.55m/44-5.50). Kevin Taylor tied for fourth in the pole vault (13-3 1/2), while Eric Zalar placed eighth in the shot put with a PSAC-qualifying throw of 14.76 meters (48-5 1/4).
