Fellow seniors Kendall Wagner went 3 for 3 and Lola Englis went 2 for 3 as both Wagner and English picked up a pair of home runs as the Bucks improved to 6-2 on the season.

The game featured a pair of ninth graders in the circle as Kelcie Wagner threw four innings of no-hit softball, shutting down the Phoenix batters. Sophomore Carrie Ditty came on in relief and also threw a scoreless frame.

Freshman Abigail Immel threw well and hard as the ninth grader no doubt has many good years in front of her, but when Bucktail has a hitting day like they did on Monday, few pitchers are able to slow that machine down.

After over a week of road games the Monday match-up against Sugar Valley was the first of four home games this week, as they will host Millville on Tuesday. The Phoenix, now 1-5, are back on the road Tuesday as they head to CMVT.
