LHU women’s lacrosse falls to East Stroudsburg in PSAC Tournament
The Lock Haven women’s lacrosse team traveled to top-seeded East Stroudsburg for the quarterfinal round of the 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Championship Tournament. The nationally-ranked Warriors won the contest, 21-6.
Gabby Gunnip led the Bald Eagles with a hat-trick, while Makayla Kelly scored twice and Maddy Raspen added a goal.
Hadley Munn and Sam Hauck each caused a turnover and goalkeeper Gretchen King finished with a team-high four ground balls.
King finished with a game-high 15 saves in net.
The unbeaten Warriors built a 14-1 lead in the first half. Lock Haven’s best run came out of the break, where they outscored ESU 4-3 in the third period.
The Bald Eagles finished the regular season 9-7 overall and 5-5 in the PSAC West, while earning their third straight trip to the PSAC Championship Tournament.
East Stroudsburg (18-0), the No. 4 team in the country, remains undefeated and will advance to the semifinal round.
PSAC All-Conference selections and major awards will be released by the conference office tomorrow afternoon, April 29.
