Jersey Shore tied the game with a run in the bottom of the third at 1-all, but two runs in the top of the fourth by Shikellamy shifted the momentum back to the Braves en route to a 3-1 win in baseball.

Both Shikellamy and Jersey Shore combined for six hits each.

Carter Rhinehart went 2 for 4 with a double and run scored and Hunter Enders was 2 for 3 with an RBI. The Bulldogs also saw both Tucker Hanna and Carson Watkins go 1 for 3.

• The Lock Haven fell to No. 8 Slippery Rock on the road in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference contest. Lock Haven moves to 5-5 on the season and 2-3 in the PSAC West, while Slippery Rock remains unbeaten at 12-0, 5-0 PSAC.

The game was deadlocked at 2-2 after the opening 15 minutes, but The Rock outscored The Haven 13-1 over the second and third period to put the game out of reach.

Makayla Kelley found the back of the night twice, while Lexi Bunk, Peyton Masters and Gabby Gunnip also scored. Bunk added an assist.

• In college track and field, Lock Haven saw success at Colonial Relays and ESU All-American Meet.

At the Colonial Relays, Samantha Trench and Reagan Irons earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championship qualifiers in the High Jump. Trench finished second and cleared 5-4 3/4 and Irons took fourth and cleared 5-2 3/4.

Nicole Carroll took third in the 800 by finishing in 2:15.70 and earned a PSAC qualifier. Elizabeth Shultz finished in 2:21.39 and nearly earned a conference qualifying time.

Carroll, Natalie Gentzel, Shultz, and Makayla Grace Weber took fifth in the 1,600 spring medley relay finals. The Bald Eagle quartet finished the race in 4:12.95.

At the All-American Meet, Deja Roark took fifth in the pole vault as she cleared 9-6 1/2.

On the men’s side at the Colonial Relays, Montoursville graduate Josiah Schans won the 110m Hurdles and finished in 14.00 seconds. The time would’ve broken his school record, but the wind reading was just above the legal limit.

Myka ran a 10.51 in the 100m and took third. That mark would have broken Will Revera’s record of 10.55 seconds, which has stood since 1978, but the wind reading was still above the legal limit.

Simmons also took second in the 200 with a 21.36 (PSAC qualifier).

Jakob Rager, Ryan Williams, Brayden Frair and Gavin Furey won the 4,000 distance medley relay finals. The Bald Eagle quartet finished in 10:13.37.

For the men at the All-American Meet, Ridge Snyder took second in the 800. Snyder finished in 1:58.26. Ben Streator took fifth in the high jump by clearing 5-10 3/4. Bryce Warren, Shawn Hertzog and Nick Bellomo all cleared the same mark.

• The Lock Haven golf team returned to action and competed in the Millersville Invitational at the Tanglewood Manor Golf Course. Lock Haven finished with a team score of 374, marking a season-low.

Macy Trostle and Hannah Kopac led the way by shooting an 88 and 89, respectively. Trostle finished the front nine with a 45, while Kopac followed with a 47.

Bree Johnson and Skylar Pentz rounded out the top-four with individual scores of 98 and 99, respectively.
