Jersey Shore baseball falls to Midd-West in eight innings

Jersey Shore lost a heartbreaker in the bottom of the eighth inning as Midd-West won with a walk-off, 11-10, over the Bulldogs in baseball action. Midd-West scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game before winning in extra innings.

Jersey Shore out-hit Midd-West, 10-9. M. Lupton (2 for 4, RBI, two runs), Carter Rhinehart (2 for 4, three RBIs, run) and Ben Gill (2 for 4, RBI, run) all had mutliple hits. Rhinehart belted a home run while Confair, Gill and Nolen Pauling each connected for a double.
