BEA, Bellefonte have 7 All-LHAC nods in softball

By From staff reports 2 min read

While Centre County's high school softball season ended earlier than recent years, that doesn't mean its teams didn't shine throughout their 2026 campaigns. On the Laurel Highlands All-Conference roster released this past weekend, Bald Eagle and Bellefonte were both well-represented, combining to fill seven of the team's 24 slots.

For Bellefonte, the stout pitching and infield play that got it to the PIAA Class AAAA Championships were both recognized.

Sophomore ace Abby Herr earned first-team honors at pitcher, following a season that saw her surpass 140 strikeouts and post an ERA under 1.50. Junior shortstop Sloan Moore joined her on the first team, proving hugely impactful in the field at shortstop and on the plate.

Rounding out the Red Raiders' representatives was sophomore pitcher Adrienne Masullo, who served as a strong dual starter alongside Herr and was named a second teamer. On the season, the underclassman surpassed 70 strikeouts while pitching just above a 3.00 ERA.

For Bald Eagle, four Eagles made the team, two on the first team and two on the second.

Bald Eagle junior Raelee Repasky earned first-team honors for her play at third, leading the Eagles in battling average .433 and slugging percentage (.910) while belting a team-high seven homers. Senior Casey Angellotti joined her behind a strong first season as starting centerfielder, batting above a .300 and posting a fielding position of .950.

Juniors Kendall Gavlock and Harlee Witherite made the second team, Gavlock as an infielder at first base and Witherite as a utility player. Gavlock bat a .349 and posted nine doubles on the season, and Witherite made an impact as both a designated hitter and pitcher, finishing second on the team in batting average (.377).
