Following a tremendous freshman season, it’s no surprise that Jersey Shore’s Elizabeth Hollick could be found on this year’s PHAC-I all-star team. The freshman earned not one, not two but three nods on this year’s team, two as an individual and one as a member of the team’s 1,600 relay team.

Having qualified for states in the 300-meter hurdles, Hollick was earned first-team honors in the event. She finished as an honorable mention in the high jump, and the team’s 1,600 relay team – consisting of Hollick, Aaralynn Kimble, Kathleen Loomis and Marlee Lehman, earned second-team honors.

Individually, Kimble – a sophomore – also secured multiple PHAC-I all-star slots. The Bulldog finished as a second teamer in the 400-meter dash and an honorable in the 300-meter hurdles alongside her teammate.

The Jersey Shore girls were also well-represented in the field. Alison Bilbay was named a second teamer in the discus, and Nina Steppe (shot put) and Bella Hensler (javelin) were honorable mentions in their respective events. And on the boys side, Khani McCray was named an honorable mention in the high jump.

For Central Mountain, the team had one representative in sophomore Macia Owens. The Wildcat earned her second consecutive PHAC-I all-star slot in the 100-meter hurdles, finishing as an honorable mention in the event.
