That team was loaded with talent and Eva Sockman, Kendall Wagner, Makenna Stone and Kelsie Wagner all were named all-state this year in Class A as the Pennsylvania High School Softball Coaches Association all-state team was released.

Sockman Kelsie Wagner and Kendall Wagner all garnered first-team honors. Sockman was a first-team catcher, Kelsie Wagner was a first-team utility player and Kendall Wagner was a first-team first baseman. Stone was named second team at second base.

Sockman land Kendall Wagner were both Bucktail’s leaders in hits with 40 each. Sockman had 44 RBIs, Kendall Wagner had 43 RBIs and Kelsie Wagner had 30 hits and 21 RBIs. Stone had 22 hits wtih 15 RBIs. Sockman had a team-high 17 doubles, Kendall Wagner had 15 and Kelsie Wagner had 11.

In Class AAA, Bald Eagle Area’s Raylee Repasky was named first team at third base and was the lone Eagle to be named to the all-state team. Repasky led Bald Eagle Area with 29 hits, 31 RBIs and tied Kendall Gavlock with nine doubles.

DAVE KENNEDY/For The Express Kelsie Wagner of Bucktail was one of four Bucktail players to be named all-state. She was a first-team utility player in Class A.

Jersey Shore’s Lynna Clark was named second team in Class AAAA at second base and teammate Dani Miller was a second-team shortstop in Class AAAA.

Central Mountain saw a trio of players garner all-state accolades in Class 5A.

Aubrey Eiler was a second-team second baseman, Cirstyn Watson was named second team at utility and Camdyn Weaver earned first-team accolades at outfield.

Weaver had 29 hits with a team-high 41 RBIs, eight doubles, six home runs and five triples. Eiler had a team-high 34 hits with 14 RBIs, seven doubles, four triples and two home runs and Watson had 20 hits, 10 RBIs, five doubles, one triple and a home run.
