Central Mountain golf welcomed the visiting Williamsport Millionaires for a PHAC league match on a beautiful day for golf on Wednesday. The Wildcats took advantage of the ideal conditions, putting together a strong team performance highlighted by several outstanding individual scores to defeat Williamsport, 161-173.
Central Mountain was led by two medalists, senior Kai Fravel and junior Tucker Brungart, who each carded a 39 to pace the Wildcats. Landen Hill followed closely with a solid 41, while Nolan Karstetter added a 42. Ben St. Clair and Lincoln Prough rounded out the Central Mountain lineup with scores of 45 each.
The Wildcats’ strong scores gave them the edge over Williamsport in the league matchup. Williamsport was led by Waylon Edler, who posted a 38, followed by Leo Kinley with a 43 and Jaxson March with a 42.
