Dietz earns win in 410 sprint cars

Chase Dietz won the 410 sprint car main at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night. The eighth of his career at the Grove, third of the year there, and his 22nd overall win on the season. Dietz wrestled the lead away from Justin Whittall in the dash to earn the pole for the 25-lap National Open Tune-Up event.
Dietz set fast time with a lap of 16.927 seconds. It was his fifth fast time of the season at Williams Grove. The victory for Dietz also earned him the 2026 Hoosier Diamond Series title at the track.
In the 358 sprint main, Reece Raudabaugh claimed the win in what was one of his first starts in the division. After finishing 12th, Derek Locke wrapped up the 2026 track title in the division.
Coming up this week, Williams Grove Speedway will hold the 64th running of the National Open for World of Outlaws on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. each night. The National Open weekend will drop the curtain on the 2026 racing season at Williams Grove Speedway with Saturday night's 40-lap main event paying $75,000 to win.
Friday's 25-lap National Open preliminary will pay $12,000 to the winner. Saturday's event will see the crowning of the 2026 410 sprint car track champion.
