Northumberland Christian secured a 4-2 win over Jersey Shore in boys soccer thanks to three first-half goals.
Jersey Shore’s goals came from Dylan Hensler, who scored the first goal off an assist by Ezra Paulhamus before sinking a penalty kick.
• Lock Haven women's soccer goalkeeper Devon Mason recorded her fourth consecutive shutout as the Bald Eagles took down Edinboro, 1-0, at home in a PSAC Western Division battle at Hubert Jack Stadium.
The Bald Eagles honored senior Riley Houck prior to the match for Senior Day.
Lock Haven has won four matches in a row, all by shutout, to improve to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the PSAC West on the year. The Bald Eagles have already matched their win total from 2025, while surpassing their win total in the conference.
Edinboro falls to 2-3-1 overall and 2-2 in the conference.
Maci Shaffer scored the lone goal in the 52nd minute and Mason recorded her fourth straight shutout in net to secure the win.
• In men's soccer, Evan Jennings scored in the 82nd minute, but Bloomsburg found a late equalizer as the Lock Haven men's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with the Huskies.
Jennings broke the scoreless deadlock in the 82nd minute, finishing for his first goal of the season to give Lock Haven a 1-0 advantage. The Bald Eagles held the lead until Bloomsburg's Ty Mikula scored in the 90th minute to level the match at 1-1.
Lock Haven goalkeeper Ethan Beck made eight saves in the draw, including a penalty-kick stop in the 43rd minute to preserve the scoreless tie entering halftime. The Bald Eagles generated nine shots, including four on target. Jennings scored on his lone shot on goal, while Patricio Zapata and Billy Lawrence each recorded two shots. Noah Brady added a shot on target off the bench.
• The Lock Haven men's cross country team traveled to compete in the DII/DII challenge hosted by Kutztown University.
The Bald Eagles finished third (63 points) as a team at the DII/DIII challenge. Point Park took the overall team win, scoring 35 points.
Leading the way for the Bald Eagles was Senior Jakob Rager, finishing second overall with a time of 25:58.2. Following closely behind was Kristian Mizdail, finishing fifth overall with a time of 26:19.7.
Will Campbell (27:31.8, 16th) and Sean Donahue (27:35.2, 17th) were just shy of the top-15 but had a strong showing for the Bald Eagles.
• The Lock Haven women's volleyball team concluded its weekend at the Lock Haven Tournament with a 2-1 record in front of the home crowd at Thomas Fieldhouse. The Bald Eagles opened Saturday with a five-set setback to Edinboro before rallying for a five-set victory over Jefferson. Lock Haven swept Virginia State, 3-0, on Friday to begin the tournament.
Olivia Taylor and Maddy Fox were named to the All-Tournament Team following their performances throughout the weekend.
Lock Haven, which had won 12 straight sets entering Saturday's action, has now won five of its last six matches and moved to 6-4 overall on the season.
