LHU women’s tennis celebrates Senior Day with win over Clarion

The Lock Haven tennis team won their first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division match of the season, defeating Clarion, 5-2, on Friday afternoon at home. Prior the match, the Bald Eagles honored their senior Maggie Blasetti. This victory marks their first match win since beating Lycoming in the fall. SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – The Lock Haven softball team continued its eight-game road trip by traveling to Shepherd on Friday afternoon for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern division doubleheader. Shepherd won both games by scores of 2-0 and 4-1 to snap the Bald Eagles’ nine-game winning streak. Lock Haven moves to 23-15 overall and 13-9 in conference play. LOCK HAVEN – The Lock Haven baseball team battled Slippery Rock on Saturday in the back half of their Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division four-game series. WINGATE — Coming off a strong win over rival Bellefonte early in the week, the Bald Eagle Area baseball team was looking to keep the winning streak going as they battled Laurel Highland foe Clearfield.
