It was a battle of 1-3 teams when Bucktail hosted St. John Neumann in baseball competition, but an impressive performance from Bucktail freshman Angelo Tarantella on the mound led to the home team improving to 2-3 by way of a 7-4 win. With two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning of a tied ball game, Camdyn Weaver of Central Mountain came up with a clutch home run to propel the Wildcats to a thrilling 5-4 win over Danville in softball action.
