LHU softball splits series vs. Jefferson in home opener

Blaire Balestrini hit a grand slam and Talia Ross struck out 11 hitters to lead the Lock Haven softball team to an 8-4 victory over Jefferson in game one of the Bald Eagles 2026 home opener. Jefferson won game two, 13-2. With the split, Lock Haven moves to 8-6 heading into its Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) schedule. Jefferson is now 6-4.
