CM swimming is swept in dual against Williamsport

Williamsport swept Central Mountain in a swimming dual meet. On the girls side, the Millionaires won, 117-63, while the Millionaire boys secured a 118-47 victory. Kiley Persun and Aviya Halstead were two-event winner for the Millionaires on the girls side. She claimed a win in the 200 free by swimming a 2:10.73, beating out teammate Miley Johnson (2:19.09) and Central Mountain’s Anna Stahl (2:20.06). Bassett wins 100th match as LHU defeats Edinboro

EDINBORO — Avery Bassett won his 100th-career match in the Lock Haven men’s wrestling team’s 18-12 Mid-American Conference victory on the road at Edinboro on Thursday night. With the victory, Lock Haven improved to 12-4 overall and 5-1 in the MAC, after picking up its 10th win in the previous 11 matches. Edinboro falls to 5-6 on the season and 2-2 in the conference.
