Playing without second-leading scorer Kendall Wagner, Bucktail dug deep, rallied in the fourth quarter and defeated St. John Neumann, 52-47 at Frank Lupacchino Court. Three players reached double figures, freshman Emma George hit a clutch fourth quarter shot and the young Bucks (9-7) exceeded last year’s win total. Central Mountain saw nine wrestlers reach the podium on Saturday at the 2026 Ultimate Warrior Tournament in West Branch. Among those, senior standout Aiden Kunes took home a gold medal. Kunes, who recorded his 100th career victory on Friday, earned a 4-1 decision in the championship semifinals at 145 pounds against Bald Eagle Area standout Dawson Lomison to reach the first-place finals. COLLEGE PARK, Md. — The Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling team (11-0, 5-0 Big Ten) shut out homestanding Maryland (4-6, 0-5) 51-0 for yet another Big Ten road win. The Nittany Lions picked up bonus points in all ten matches in the lopsided victory in College Park, Md., on Saturday. Penn State, now 11-0 on the year, has earned shutouts in seven of those wins.
