Central Mountain saw nine wrestlers reach the podium on Saturday at the 2026 Ultimate Warrior Tournament in West Branch. Among those, senior standout Aiden Kunes took home a gold medal. Kunes, who recorded his 100th career victory on Friday, earned a 4-1 decision in the championship semifinals at 145 pounds against Bald Eagle Area standout Dawson Lomison to reach the first-place finals. Penn State wrestling throttles Maryland 51-0 for Big Ten road win

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — The Penn State Nittany Lion wrestling team (11-0, 5-0 Big Ten) shut out homestanding Maryland (4-6, 0-5) 51-0 for yet another Big Ten road win. The Nittany Lions picked up bonus points in all ten matches in the lopsided victory in College Park, Md., on Saturday. Penn State, now 11-0 on the year, has earned shutouts in seven of those wins. Four individual titles lift LHU women's wrestling to second place at PA State Championships

EAST STROUDSBURG – The Lock Haven women’s wrestling team took second place at the PA Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships hosted by East Stroudsburg University. The field consisted of 11 Pennsylvania-based teams. The Bald Eagles were led by the performances of Lindsay Laws (207), Presley McCandlish (160), Azariah Moore (180) and Jayleah Pletz (124), all winning gold. LOCK HAVEN — A big second-half push was not enough for the Lock Haven men’s basketball team, as the Bald Eagles fell 73-62 to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East foe West Chester Saturday afternoon at Thomas Fieldhouse. Lock Haven is now 7-11 on the season and 3-8 in the PSAC. West Chester improved to 14-4 overall and 8-3 in the conference. LOCK HAVEN — The Lock Haven women’s basketball team used a dominant middle stretch and a monster day at the foul line to roll past West Chester 73-50 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon at Thomas Fieldhouse.
