Lock Haven’s Rager named PSAC Track Athlete of the Week

Jakob Rager of the Lock Haven men’s indoor track and field team was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Indoor Track Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday. The Bald Eagles opened the New Year by sending athletes to the Nittany Lion Open (Penn State) and River Hawk Invite (Susquehanna) on Saturday, Jan. 17. Clinton County Speedway sanctions IMCA sprint cars for upcoming season

MILL HALL — The Clinton County Speedway becomes the first Central PA sprint car track to sign a sanctioning agreement with IMCA Racing for the RaceSaver sprint cars. Established in 1979, the IMCA sanctioning body continues its mission of affordable, entertaining and competitive auto racing throughout the United States. Brooke Charney picks up two wins in swimming tri-meet for Jersey Shore

Jersey Shore’s girls swim team swept a tri-meet with Athens and Selinsgrove, beating the Seals, 84-63, and beating Athens, 79-63, while the Bulldog boys lost to Athens (106-12) and beat Selinsgrove (17-6). Jersey Shore’s Brooke Charney was a two-time winner on Tuesday while Macy Wilton secured a win as well for the Bulldogs.
