McELHATTAN – A crash along U.S. state Route 220 snarled traffic on Tuesday morning.
The crash which took place on 220 southbound, involved a tractor trailer and a UPS truck. According to those on the scene, it appeared as if the tractor trailer was stopped in the right lane. The UPS truck tried to avoid the tractor trailer and struck it. There were boxes and items scattered all over the roadway. The crash occurred between the McElhattan and Avis exits of 220.
The UPS truck was a total loss.
There was no word on injuries.
