Clinton County adds 16 cases of COVID-19; Centre up 55
Numbers are starting to level off a bit in Pennsylvania.
On Wednesday, Clinton County added 16 cases of COVID-19. Its total now stands at 2,392. Centre County added 55 cases of the deadly virus. Its total now stands at 10,357.
In Pennsylvania 5,984 additional cases of COVID-19 were added to the tally. That pushes the statewide total to 783,170, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
There were 401 new deaths reported by the DOH. A total of 19,467 Pennsylvanians have died from the virus.
As far as negative tests are concerned, a total of 7,725 Clinton County residents have tested negative. A total of 55,074 Centre County residents have tested negative.
Lycoming County added 69 cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. Its total now stands at 7,533. In other nearby counties, the numbers look like this: Cambria (10,293), Blair (9.470), Clearfield (5,214), Union (3,747), Cameron (221) and Potter (92).
