Clinton County adds 30 cases; Centre up 133
Numbers are on the rise again.
On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Department of Health reported that Clinton County added 30 cases of COVID-19. Its total now stands at 2,278. Centre County added 133 cases of the deadly virus. Its total now stands at 9,973.
Throughout the state, there were 7,960 new cases of COVID-19. That brings the statewide total to 741,389.
The DOH also reports 349 new deaths for a total of 18,429 deaths attributed to the deadly virus.
As far as negative tests are concerned, a total of 7,565 Clinton County residents have tested negative. A total of 53,915 Centre County residents have tested negative.
In Lycoming County, 88 new cases of COVID-19 were added to the count on Wednesday. Its total now stands at 7,114. In other nearby counties, the numbers look like this: Cambria (9,824), Blair (9,026), Clearfield (4,940), Union (3,560) Potter (726) and Cameron (200).
