AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A Venezuelan man shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer was in custody Monday at an ICE detention center in Texas after he was released from a hospital with a bullet still lodged in his back, according to a spokesperson for the man’s attorney. ICE hides locations of thousands of detainees with final removal orders

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has stopped publicly revealing where it is holding thousands of detainees who are subject to final deportation orders, an unannounced move that has made it far more difficult for lawyers and relatives to find them, according to current and former officials familiar with the practice. MIAMI (AP) — A new tropical storm has formed in the northern Atlantic Ocean but does not appear to pose a threat to land. Tropical Storm Fay, which formed early Sunday, was located about 450 miles (730 kilometers) southwest of the Azores.
