A famed Hawaii sea arch collapses, prompting NPS warnings of unstable cliffs

HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK, Hawaii (AP) — A scenic cliff on the wave-swept coast of Hawaii’s Big Island has collapsed, the National Park Service said. The Holei Sea Arch, located in the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, was about 90 feet (27.4 meters) high before it collapsed sometime between Sept. 23 and Sept. 27, possibly when the park was temporarily closed during Tropical Storm Nolo. Ukraine claims to have taken out more than half of Russia’s oil refining capacity

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukraine says its long-range strikes have neutralized more than half of Russia’s oil refining capacity, hampering Moscow’s ability to supply its forces during its 4 1/2-year-old invasion. The Defense Ministry said late Sunday that recent strikes on refineries in cities, including Moscow, Yaroslavl, Ust-Luga, Perm, Saratov and Syzran, had disabled 51% of Russia’s oil refining capacity.
