NAMI support group cancelled

The NAMI support group meeting for Sept. 25 at Avenue 209 Coffee House has been cancelled. The next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 2 at Avenoe 209, 209 Bellefonte Avenue, Lock Haven from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The group will not begin to meet the first Wednesday of every other month. JS Public Library used book sale

The Friends of Jersey Shore Public Library will be holding a used book sale on Oct. 17, 18 and 19 with thousdands of childrens and adults books for 25 to 50 cents and DVDs and audiobooks for 50 cents. Lunch platters for $6. Phone 570-398-9891

Clinton County Dems meeting

Clinton County Democrats monthly meeting is on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m. at Ave. 209.

Truckers 4 Hope

The annual Truckers 4 Hope Jamboree is coming to the Clinton County Fairgrounds beginning Friday, Sept. 27 until Sunday, Sept. 29. Admission is $7 for adults and kids age 12 and under get in free. All proceeds for the event go wards supporting #Hope4Hayze and cystic fibrosis research. The event will feature truck, semi and tractor pulls as well as food and craft vendors and live music.
