Holy Week services, events listed

Today is Good Friday, a solemn day for Christianity when churches recall Jesus’ crucifixion. Some will hold vigils on Saturday as well, before celebrating Easter Sunday this weekend.

Many communities and churches in our region have special services and events planned. Those that have been announced are listed here.

Most churches also have their regularly scheduled services on Easter Sunday, and those services are not listed here. A complete schedule of worship times will appear tomorrow in The Express, as it does every Saturday.
