WATERVILLE -- Brian Roberts, 47, of Carmichaels, Pa. -- a small town of around 500 people, located about an hour south of Pittsburgh -- was killed early Friday morning after losing control of his vehicle, causing him to drive off the roadway and strike a tree, according to state police at Montoursville.
Roberts was driving a 2017 Dodge Ram 3500, with a trailer, along Little Pine Creek Road, near Waterville, police said.
He was not wearing a seat belt, police said.
Lycoming County Chief Deputy Coroner Jerold Ross stated that since there were no witnesses to the crash, the amount of time between the actual accident and its discovery, around 6:30 a.m. on March 15, was unknown.
