Fire guts garage in Mill Hall

MILL HALL -- A fire early Thursday evening took out a garage in Mill Hall.
Several area fire companies battled the blaze, which took place at the rear of 20 Danis Street. The garage is located just off Fishing Creek. The one-story concrete garage contained a pair of Ford Mustangs, several lawn mowers and at least a half-dozen motorcycles. As of Friday afternoon, the area was taped off and the damaged vehicles were still inside the garage. The smell of smoke still permeated the air along Danis Street.
The Express' attempts to reach owner Tim Yost were unsuccessful.
Several fire companies responded to the scene, including the Mill Hall Fire Department, Lock Haven Fire Department, Flemington Fire Department and Lamar Township Fire Department.
There was no cause know at press time. The state police fire marshal is investigating the blaze.
